Zil Hijjah Ke Mubarak Dino Ki Fazilat
ROMAN URDU TRANSLATION
Alhamdulillahi Rabbil Aalameen, wassalatu wassalamu ala Sayyidil Ambiya wal Mursaleen. Amma baad!
Mere azeez dosto aur mohtaram buzurgo! Allah Ta’ala ne kuch mahino aur kuch dino ko khaas fazilat ata farmayi hai. Unhi mubarak dino me se ek “Zil Hijjah” ka mahina hai. Yeh mahina Islam ke azeem aur muqaddas mahino me shamil hai. Is mahine ke pehle das din Allah Ta’ala ke nazdeek itne pyare hain ke in dino ki ibadat dusre dino ki ibadat se zyada afzal hai.
Aaj hum Zil Hijjah ke mubarak dino ki fazilat, ahmiyat aur in dino me karne wale aamaal ke bare me tafseel se jaanenge.
Zil Hijjah Ki Ahmiyat
Zil Hijjah Islami saal ka aakhri mahina hai. Isi mahine me Hajj ada kiya jata hai aur isi mahine me Eid ul Azha aur qurbani ka azeem amal bhi hota hai. Allah Ta’ala ne Quran Shareef me farmaya:
“Wal fajr, wa layalin ashr”
Tarjuma: “Qasam hai fajr ki aur das rato ki.”
Bahut se mufassireen ne farmaya ke yahan “das rato” se murad Zil Hijjah ke pehle das din hain.
Sochiye! Jin dino ki Allah Ta’ala khud qasam khaye, un dino ki kya shaan hogi!
Hadees Me Zil Hijjah Ki Fazilat
Rasulullah ﷺ ne farmaya:
“Allah ko Zil Hijjah ke pehle das dino me kiye gaye nek aamaal sabse zyada pasand hain.”
Sahaba ne arz kiya: “Ya Rasulullah ﷺ! Kya Allah ke raste me jihad se bhi zyada?”
Aap ﷺ ne farmaya: “Haan! Jihad se bhi zyada, siwaye us shakhs ke jo apni jaan aur maal lekar nikle aur phir kuch bhi wapas na laye.”
(SubhanAllah)
Is hadees se maloom hua ke in dino me har nek amal ka sawab bahut zyada badha diya jata hai.
In Dino Me Kya Karna Chahiye?
1. Namaz Ki Pabandi
Sabse pehla aur aham amal namaz ki pabandi hai. Farz namaz waqt par ada karein. Mardon ko chahiye ke masjid me jamaat ke sath namaz ada karein. Nafl namazon ka bhi اہتمام karein, khas taur par Tahajjud aur Ishraq.
2. Quran Ki Tilawat
Zil Hijjah ke din Quran ke sath guzarne chahiye. Rozana tilawat karein aur Quran ka tarjuma aur tafseer bhi padhein. Quran dil ko roshan karta hai aur Allah ki rehmat ko nazil karta hai.
3. Zikrullah Ki Kasrat
In dino me takbeer, tahleel aur tasbeeh ki kasrat karni chahiye:
“Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illallah, Wallahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar wa lillahil hamd.”
Sahaba-e-Kiram in dino me bazaron aur gharon me bhi buland awaaz se takbeerat padte the.
4. Roza Rakhna
Zil Hijjah ke pehle 9 dinon me roza rakhna bahut afzal hai, khas taur par 9 Zil Hijjah yani Yawm-e-Arafah ka roza.
Rasulullah ﷺ ne farmaya: “Mujhe Allah se umeed hai ke Arafah ka roza ek saal pehle aur ek saal baad ke gunahon ka kaffara ban jata hai.”
Kitni badi rehmat hai ke sirf ek roza do saal ke gunahon ki maafi ka sabab ban jata hai.
5. Tauba Aur Istighfar
Har insan gunahgar hai. In mubarak dino me dil se tauba karein. Allah Ta’ala bahut zyada maaf karne wale hain. Aankhon ke gunah, zaban ke gunah, dil ke gunah — sab se maafi maangein.
“Astaghfirullaha Rabbi min kulli zambin wa atubu ilaih.”
6. Sadqa Aur Khairat
Ghareebo, yateemo aur zaruratmando ki madad karein. Jo log mushkil me hain un tak khana, kapde aur madad pahunchayein. Allah ke raste me diya gaya maal kabhi kam nahi hota.
7. Qurbani Ki Ahmiyat
Qurbani Hazrat Ibrahim عليه السلام ki sunnat hai. Jab Allah Ta’ala ne unko apne bete Hazrat Ismail عليه السلام ko qurban karne ka hukm diya to dono Allah ke hukm ke aage jhuk gaye. Allah Ta’ala ne unki ita’at ko pasand farmaya aur قیامت tak ke liye qurbani ko sunnat bana diya.
Rasulullah ﷺ ne farmaya: “Qurbani ke din insan koi amal Allah ke nazdeek qurbani se zyada pasandeeda nahi karta.”
Jo log qurbani kar sakte hain unhe zaroor qurbani karni chahiye.
Takbeer-e-Tashreeq
9 Zil Hijjah ki Fajr se lekar 13 Zil Hijjah ki Asr tak har farz namaz ke baad takbeer padhna wajib hai:
“Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar La ilaha illallahu Wallahu Akbar Allahu Akbar wa lillahil hamd.”
Mardon ko buland awaaz se aur aurton ko aahista padhna chahiye.
Hajj Ka Paigham
Hajj sirf ek safar nahi, balke Allah ki mohabbat aur bandagi ka izhar hai. Lakhon log ek jaisi ihram me Allah ke samne khade hote hain. Koi ameer gareeb ka farq nahi hota. Sab ek Allah ke bande hote hain.
Hajj humein ye dars deta hai:
- Takabbur chhod do
- Gunahon se tauba karo
- Allah ki taraf laut aao
- Musalmano se mohabbat karo
Hamari Zimmedari
Aaj afsos ke sath kehna padta hai ke hum Eid ko sirf gosht aur khushiyon tak mehdood kar dete hain, jabke asal maqsad Allah ki raza hasil karna hai.
Humein chahiye:
- Apni namazon ki fikr karein
- Ghar walon ko deen sikhayein
- Bachon ko sunnat aur Quran se jodein
- Mobile aur gunahon se bachne ki koshish karein
- In dino ko fazool kaamon me barbaad na karein
Aakhri Naseehat
Mere azeez bhaiyo aur behno! Zindagi bahut choti hai. Pata nahi agla Zil Hijjah hume naseeb ho ya na ho. Isliye in mubarak dino ki qadr karein. Har lamha Allah ki ita’at me guzarein.
Ho sakta hai:
- Yeh hamari zindagi ka aakhri Zil Hijjah ho
- Yeh hamari tauba ka waqt ho
- Yeh hamari bakhshish ka zariya ban jaye
Aaiye! Aaj hi niyyat karein:
- Namaz ki pabandi karenge
- Quran se talluq mazboot karenge
- Gunahon se bachenge
- Zikr aur istighfar ki kasrat karenge
- Qurbani ko ikhlas ke sath ada karenge
Allah Ta’ala hum sab ko Zil Hijjah ke mubarak dino ki qadr karne ki taufeeq ata farmaye, hamari ibadaton ko qubool farmaye aur humein duniya aur aakhirat ki kamyabi naseeb farmaye.
Aameen Ya Rabbal Aalameen.

The Virtues of the Blessed Days of Dhul Hijjah
A Detailed Speech
All praise is for Allah, the Lord of the worlds, and peace and blessings be upon the Leader of the Prophets and Messengers. أما بعد!
My dear brothers, sisters, and respected elders! Allah Almighty has granted special virtue and honor to certain months and days. Among these blessed times is the month of Dhul Hijjah. This month is one of the most sacred months in Islam. The first ten days of Dhul Hijjah are so beloved to Allah that worship performed during these days is superior to worship performed on any other days.
Today, we will learn in detail about the virtues, importance, and acts of worship related to the blessed days of Dhul Hijjah.
The Importance of Dhul Hijjah
Dhul Hijjah is the final month of the Islamic year. It is the month in which Hajj is performed, and it is also the month of Eid al-Adha and Qurbani (sacrifice). Allah Almighty says in the Holy Qur’an:
“By the dawn, and by the ten nights.”
Many scholars of Tafsir explain that the “ten nights” refer to the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah.
Just imagine! The days by which Allah Himself takes an oath — how honorable and blessed those days must be!
Virtues of Dhul Hijjah in Hadith
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.”
The companions asked:
“O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! Not even jihad in the path of Allah?”
The Prophet ﷺ replied:
“Not even jihad, except for the person who goes out with his life and wealth and returns with nothing.”
(SubhanAllah)
This Hadith shows that every good deed performed during these days receives immense reward.
What Should We Do During These Days?
1. Be Regular in Salah (Prayer)
The first and most important act is to be punctual with prayers. Perform all obligatory prayers on time. Men should try to pray in the mosque with congregation. One should also increase voluntary prayers, especially Tahajjud and Ishraq.
2. Recite the Qur’an
Spend these blessed days connected with the Qur’an. Recite it daily and try to read its translation and explanation as well. The Qur’an enlightens the heart and brings down the mercy of Allah.
3. Increase the Remembrance of Allah
During these days, one should frequently recite Takbeer, Tahleel, and Tasbeeh:
“Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illallah, Wallahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar wa lillahil hamd.”
The companions of the Prophet ﷺ would recite these Takbeerat loudly in their homes and marketplaces during these days.
4. Observe Fasting
Fasting during the first nine days of Dhul Hijjah is highly virtuous, especially the fast of the 9th of Dhul Hijjah, known as the Day of Arafah.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“I hope from Allah that the fast of Arafah expiates the sins of the previous year and the coming year.”
What a great mercy from Allah — a single fast becoming a means of forgiveness for two years of sins!
5. Repentance and Seeking Forgiveness
Every human being commits sins. During these blessed days, sincerely repent to Allah. Allah is Most Forgiving and Most Merciful. Seek forgiveness for the sins of the eyes, tongue, heart, and every other wrongdoing.
“Astaghfirullaha Rabbi min kulli zambin wa atubu ilaih.”
6. Charity and Helping Others
Help the poor, orphans, and needy people. Deliver food, clothes, and assistance to those who are suffering. Wealth spent in the path of Allah never decreases.
7. The Importance of Qurbani (Sacrifice)
Qurbani is the Sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim عليه السلام. When Allah commanded him to sacrifice his beloved son Prophet Ismail عليه السلام, both father and son submitted completely to the command of Allah. Allah loved their obedience and made Qurbani a lasting Sunnah until the Day of Judgment.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“On the day of sacrifice, no deed is more beloved to Allah than offering sacrifice.”
Those who have the ability should certainly perform Qurbani.
Takbeer-e-Tashreeq
From the Fajr prayer of the 9th of Dhul Hijjah until the Asr prayer of the 13th of Dhul Hijjah, it is necessary to recite the Takbeer after every obligatory prayer:
“Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar La ilaha illallahu Wallahu Akbar Allahu Akbar wa lillahil hamd.”
Men should recite it loudly, while women should recite it softly.
The Message of Hajj
Hajj is not merely a journey; it is a symbol of love, obedience, and submission to Allah. Millions of Muslims stand before Allah in the same simple Ihram garments, without any distinction between rich and poor.
Hajj teaches us:
- Leave pride and arrogance
- Repent from sins
- Return to Allah
- Love and care for fellow Muslims
Our Responsibility
Sadly, many people limit Eid only to meat and celebrations, while the true purpose is to attain the pleasure of Allah.
We should:
- Be concerned about our prayers
- Teach Islam to our families
- Connect our children with the Qur’an and Sunnah
- Protect ourselves from sins and misuse of mobile phones
- Avoid wasting these blessed days in useless activities
Final Advice
My dear brothers and sisters! Life is very short. We do not know whether we will witness another Dhul Hijjah or not. Therefore, value these blessed days and spend every moment in the obedience of Allah.
Perhaps:
- This may be the last Dhul Hijjah of our lives
- This may be the time for our repentance
- This may become the means of our forgiveness
Let us make a sincere intention today:
- We will guard our prayers
- We will strengthen our relationship with the Qur’an
- We will avoid sins
- We will increase in remembrance and repentance
- We will perform Qurbani with sincerity
May Allah Almighty grant us the ability to value the blessed days of Dhul Hijjah, accept our worship, and grant us success in this world and the Hereafter.
Ameen Ya Rabbal Aalameen.
