The Concern for Self-Reform Is Necessary
Considering yourself great is a shaitani sin.
And this disease, meaning to consider others low and yourself great, is not visible.
Hazratji, may Allah have mercy on him, used to say, in the beginning every new saathi does a lot of effort, a lot of worship, tasbih, weeping, but later this must also be taken care of.
Reforming others is not an obligation, it is a responsibility.
But your own reform, this is an obligation.
Aims and courage, intentions are for this, that our life, wealth, ability be used correctly and the ummah’s life, wealth, ability also be used correctly.
Allah’s help comes when responsibility is taken on.
*Make the work the purpose and do it*
Until now we understand dawah as a good deed, but have not made it the purpose.
Allah Himself is the Helper and Supporter of His deen, our work is mercy, like rainwater, it should spread.
We have responsibility with respect to the whole world, the help of this ummah will also be with respect to the whole world.
The coming of prophets stopped, but the help that was with prophets continues.
Allah will make the ummah a means of guidance for the ummah.
The more responsibility is taken upon oneself, the more Allah’s help will be received.
Allah always spread the truth in lack of means, the matter is protected through sacrifice.
*Deen comes through dawah*
The one with dawah will want deen, the one with dawah will want guidance.
Collectiveness in the ummah is necessary, if your salah, your recitation, your remembrance reaches the Arsh, but collectiveness has not come in you, then Allah’s help will not come.
Do not be afraid of conditions, conditions are granted by Allah to give reward, like the fast in heat. A believer progresses through conditions, the rewards of Allah that will come will ride upon conditions.
Steadfastness is a condition to bring the deen of Muhammad, peace be upon him.
Keep applying your strength with conditions, do not work according to conditions, do it according to command, when work is according to command there will be steadfastness.
The water of fields is seen, the crop is seen, the purpose of effort is to turn the direction.
*We are people of command*
Our worships teach us that we are people of command, we follow command, not conditions.
Those who join the work will be saved from trials, from this sacrifices will come into being, then obedience will come, when obedience comes then guidance will come.
The way to walk on principles is to bring yourself onto principles.
Restrictions should be for yourself and ease for others, ease for yourself and hardship for others, this is the way of politics, these become oppressors, we must bring the whole ummah onto deen, therefore concession is necessary.
The real temperament of this work is general, the more powerful the generality, the more powerful the work will be.
For this deen to come into common Muslims, exclusivity must be avoided.
There are two reasons people leave deen: one is lack of sincerity, second is ignorance.
*Allah takes work from the pious*
Whoever is pious, righteous, Allah takes this work from him.
Our dawah is on the pattern of adhan, we will give dawah and also worship.
We will give dawah of qualities and we will also walk on the qualities ourselves.
Mashwara is this, that honey be taken from the honey bees, no bee should be killed and there should be no dirt, no saathi’s heart should break.
The one who works will writhe before Allah, he does not plead before people, the work will be made by Allah’s ability.
*Proof that the work is true*
The proof that this work is true and like that of prophets is that obstacles will come in the work.
If there are no obstacles, then it is not the effort of prophets, no nation passed that supported the work of a prophet.
Obstacles should move us forward not back, for this there must also be conviction, then there will be steadfastness.
Dawah, the effort of prophethood, from its beginning to end there is opposition, if this thing does not arise then it will be called an organization.
Hazratji, may Allah have mercy on him, used to say, if unpleasantness comes to you in the work, then think where this unpleasantness came to the Noble Sahaba, and what action they did in these conditions, how they showed patience.
If the level of sacrifice reaches that level, then Allah’s help will come.
