Dawah is global.
Dawah has power. In true dawah, Allah’s help is with it. In false dawah, Allah’s help is not with it.
The ummah was given two blessings: dawah and dua.
Whoever has dua succeeds. Whoever does not have dua fails. Our failure is due to weakness in dua.
If you do the effort of deen, humility will develop, and when humility develops Allah will love you.
Through the effort of this dawah we must build this conviction: all problems of the ummah will be solved, and that will happen when we do this effort with unity.
If the conviction is not built that success and the solution to the ummah’s problems will come through the effort of dawah, then all effort will bring no benefit.
This work is not local, it is global. The conditions upon the ummah are due to the shortcoming in our effort.
This work is not for blessing, rather it is the purpose.
The solution to the ummah’s individual and collective problems is this work of dawah.
The work of dawah is mercy. The only path to bring peace in the world is the work of dawah.
Our purpose is the effort of the dawah of deen. A da’i is one who makes dua.
We must raise the ummah on the pattern and movement of the sahaba.
When the ummah leaves dawah, it will leave deen. Dawah is the means to deliver water to all branches of deen.
The Prophet, peace be upon him, made every ummati a da’i. Maulana Ilyas, may Allah have mercy on him, used to say Allah will take from you the work He did not take from the prophets. Allah takes work from those who work. If you do not work, Allah will take the work from someone else.
Keep working, do not think of reward. Allah will take from you work He did not take from the prophets. This does not mean we think we have a rank higher than prophets. Allah forbid. Allah’s help is with the weak.
The purpose of the work is not that we learn deen and sit. The purpose is to gather the ummah on the purpose upon which the Prophet, peace be upon him, left the sahaba.
The purpose of the work is not just that kalimah and salah become correct, rather that correct deen enters every branch. We must raise the ummah on the pattern and movement of the sahaba.
Read Hayatus Sahaba so much that a da’i temperament is formed.
Dawah shifts the abilities of the ummah from falsehood to truth.
A local worker is not active.
Active is the one who gives 40 days yearly and 3 days monthly, and connects with the 5 local aamal.
That the ummah does not go out in Allah’s path is not due to the ummah’s busyness. The weakness is in our doing the work.
On every shabguzari day at the markaz, put the demand on the people of the coming masjid to bring a cash jamaat next week.
Bring people into the masjid environment and do tashkil. In home visits keep it brief and give a cash invitation to the masjid, then do tashkil in the masjid. Because the masjid has the environment of angels.
And tashkil wants an environment of collectiveness, and this will encourage more people to go out in Allah’s path.
Putting responsibility on the halqa weakens the masjid work. If you want to increase work in the halqa, put demands on the masjids of the halqa.
Daily taleem at home should be with the 6 sifaat, and after the 6 sifaat do tashkil.
Every saathi should read Hayatus Sahaba and the Malfuzat of Maulana Ilyas, may Allah have mercy on him.
In daily visits give dawah of maktab madrasa. None of our children should live life without reading Quran.
Put the responsibility of 10 saathis on every masjid saathi. Tell him you must form your own jamaat.
There should be muzakara of the 6 sifaat in the light of hadith. The purpose is not to just list the 6 numbers, rather do muzakara of each number, each sifaat, in the light of hadith.
Doing muzakara of the 6 sifaat in this way will create the importance of the 6 sifaat.
There are two deeds that cool Allah’s anger:
1 Paidai jamaat,
2 Keeping the masjid populated.
Do tashkil of paidai jamaat based on the incidents of the movement of the sahaba, and on its virtues.
In our muzakara there should be more muzakara of the movements of the sahaba.
Keep the jamaats from outside at places where the amal of dawah of populating the masjid, taleem, and istikbaal happens.
The da’i who is influenced by the busyness of the mad’u will not be able to change the direction of the mad’u’s life.
Keep students with you in daily effort. We also need 4 months yearly from the ulama.
In every jod and mashwara there should be tashkil of paidai.
Collecting the time of saathis was a quality of the sahaba.
Our work is not limited only to the masjid. For 13 years the work happened without masjid, and for 10 years it happened in Masjid Nabawi.
The matter that leaves our discussion will leave our action.
Daily after every mashwara, ask: is taleem with 6 sifaat happening at home or not.
If there are not 8 saathis for dawah, taleem, and istikbaal, then do not wait for 8 saathis to come. Rather prepare 8 saathis and at least go outside, meet people, bring them to the masjid and start the amal.
