The Beauty of Dawah and the Path of the Prophets
Following closely behind, walking by asking about Shariah at every step,
This is the beauty of the Prophets: they would go after people, seeking them out.
Even if someone sits at home and worships for 50 years, his neighbor will not come to Deen through that worship if he does not convey Allah’s message to him, if he does not strive for him.
Tabligh is a great trade. The one who does it never suffers loss.
This is my path: I call towards Allah. This is the path of one who walks on the principles of Shariah.
The one who walks on the principles of Shariah will surely reach Allah.
A true Tablighi is one who seeks no status for himself, wants no position, no recognition, no reward.
The one who only speaks of being Muslim and does not speak of sects, then there is no deed greater than Tabligh.
The one who goes out to convey Allah’s Deen, spending his life, his wealth, his time for it.
The most beautiful work is to convey Allah’s Deen to others.
Is there anyone who can present a deed to Allah greater than this?
To deliver this Message of Truth to the last human on earth — there is no work more beneficial than this. The entire Ummah benefits from it. Muslims of every school and every country benefit from it.
Those who take initiative, those who move forward, will be close to Allah.
The most fundamental thing is to have certainty in the promises of Allah, Lord of Honor, and His Messenger, peace be upon him.
We must attain Iman and have certainty in Allah’s Power.
First there should be the certainty of the Kalimah and the action of Salah, and through them all other deeds become correct.
The more the certainty of the Kalimah enters the heart, the more it settles. The more the atmosphere of Dawah, the more the Kalimah’s certainty enters the heart.
Allah says: O believers, save yourselves and your families from the Fire of Hell.
Worry about yourself, your family, your locality, your surroundings, and all of humanity. Every Muslim should do this work, and do it for his entire life.
Ibrahim, peace be upon him, sacrificed everything for Deen.
Sacrifice of wife, sacrifice of child, sacrifice of homeland, heat and cold.
Allahu Akbar, just take it up once and you will realize what the work of Dawah is, what Tabligh means.
Writing a letter and saying it, putting up a poster and saying “Our duty is only to convey” — this was not the work of any Prophet.
Tabligh is not just delivering the message. It is to go yourself, leaving behind your wife, children, homeland, business, family.
I leave everyone behind because I must go selflessly, leaving my personal interests behind.
The importance of Tabligh will be understood only when you go out and engage in it.
Nowhere in the Quran does it say We made you a trader, a farmer, a landlord. Yes, it mentions virtues and promises for spending, not for earning.
The trade that makes you heedless of Allah’s Deen — their trade never made them heedless of Allah’s remembrance. They were rememberers of Allah even in their trade.
Our paths are different, and the paths of the world are different.
