Faith, Character, and Timeless Wisdom

Faith, Character, and Timeless Wisdom

There are four qualities commonly found in a woman. A woman cries a lot; if her tears were shed for the Ummah, the condition of the Ummah would improve. A woman speaks a lot; if her speech were used for calling people toward Allah, the Ummah would become a guiding nation. A woman has the ability to persuade others; if she used this ability to guide people to the path of Allah, great success would be achieved. A woman is also very patient; if she remained patient upon the struggles of religion, her faith would become stronger and more refined.

Parents often delay marriage, while immoral relationships are becoming more common. Halal work is becoming more difficult day by day, while haram activities are becoming easier. Many young people are being harmed by this situation, yet some parents remain unaware. They say, “First earn money and gather wealth, then marriage can take place.”

Youth are usually at the forefront of progress in every society, while Islam encourages marriage upon reaching maturity. Yet many people insist that marriage can only happen after accumulating large amounts of wealth. Unnecessary customs and expectations have made marriage difficult while making sin easier. Until the natural needs of young people are fulfilled through halal means, how can they truly prosper? Rizq comes from Allah, and every person brings the provision that Allah has written for them. Make marriage easy and help prevent sin so that Allah’s mercy may descend upon society. May Allah grant us correct understanding and the ability to act upon it. Ameen.

Both extreme comfort and extreme hardship can lead a person toward wrongdoing. Listen carefully to good advice no matter who gives it. The beauty of the sky is in its stars, and the beauty of the earth is in people of knowledge. Allah does not look at your appearance, wealth, or lineage; He looks at your deeds and the condition of your heart.

Wealth may help a person acquire worldly things, but it cannot purchase success in the Hereafter. Wealth can support generosity, but it cannot buy worship, good character, or loving parents. A person's greatest treasure is good character, and the best people are those who possess it.

Becoming someone’s first love is not the greatest achievement; becoming their last love is far more meaningful. Do not focus on whom someone loved before you. Instead, strive to be so sincere and caring that they do not need anyone else after you. Love is not something achieved through effort alone; it is often a matter of destiny and great blessing. In the journey of this world, love is among the most beautiful gifts. Love neither controls nor can be controlled, because love itself is sufficient. You may admire someone’s beauty, but life is lived through character and actions, not appearance. Guard your thoughts, for thoughts become words, words become actions, actions become character, and character becomes identity. Wars may be won with weapons, but hearts are won through good character.

Do not be deceived by the whisper of Satan that life is still long and worship can wait until old age. While life follows a visible order, death does not. A grandfather may carry his grandson to the grave. Therefore, repent today, abandon laziness, establish your prayers, and correct the direction of your life. Whoever protects their prayers will find them to be a source of light, proof, and salvation on the Day of Judgment. Many problems have one powerful solution: prayer.

Strong people often remain silent and do not complain to others. Those who are silent are often among Allah’s special servants. Even when wronged, they explain themselves once and then leave the matter to Allah. Their case is with Him, and help comes from where they do not expect it. People often underestimate the strength of those who remain silent. When the one who hears remains silent, the one who sees remains silent, and the one who suffers remains silent, then understand that the matter has been placed before the court of Allah.
