The Value of Knowledge, Mercy, and Righteous Character
Both extreme comfort and extreme misery can lead a person toward wrongdoing.
Listen carefully to any good advice, no matter who gives it.

Being happy and smiling is as necessary for a person as chewing food is for eating.
Daughters are a mercy from Allah. For parents, they can become a means of protection from Hellfire and a path to Paradise.
Why should anyone regret the birth of a daughter? The Prophet Muhammad ï·º was also blessed with daughters. Whoever is granted a daughter should feel honored, for Allah has bestowed a special mercy upon them. Love and cherish your daughters, for they are a gift from Allah.
Daughters belong in homes that seek the pleasure of Allah. During the age of ignorance, daughters were buried alive and treated as burdens. Sadly, even today some people regard daughters as a burden or a cause of regret. There is no reason to regret the birth of a daughter or granddaughter.
Have we ever reflected on how we will answer Allah for regretting a mercy that He Himself granted us? May Allah grant us correct understanding. Ameen.
Whenever I see a poor person smiling and laughing, I become certain that happiness is not dependent upon wealth.
Be happy. Worrying does not remove tomorrow’s troubles; it only steals today’s peace. Time changes everything, so give time the opportunity to work.
Never look down upon anyone with contempt. Allah did not create anyone without purpose. Every person possesses talents and qualities that others may not have.
You should feel the greatest pain when someone is harmed because of your words or actions.

In devotion to the Messenger of Allah ï·º, even hardship and sacrifice become acceptable. Without love for Mustafa ï·º, life loses much of its meaning and beauty.
If regular prayer were properly taught and encouraged in schools and colleges, society would become more conscious of Allah and more righteous. Actions are shaped by knowledge. As the knowledge, so the actions. If the knowledge is corrupted, the actions will also be affected.

Guidance for a Blessed Family Life
A mother is a great personality under whose feet even kings and wise men have bowed. She is the light of the home, without whom darkness fills every corner. Without a mother, a home feels like a graveyard; she is a heavenly gift. A mother faces strong obstacles for the sake of her children and sacrifices herself for their well-being. Only those deprived of a mother understand her true value. She is like a flower whose fragrance always spreads the essence of love and care. Beneath her feet lies paradise. A mother represents love, peace, safety, and guidance. She is a fountain from which hearts hardened by hatred, envy, or malice taste love and affection. A mother is a noble being who shapes humanity within her children. Even when hungry herself, she ensures her children are fed. Her upbringing helps form a righteous and virtuous society.
Fulfill your wife's rights without negligence or delay. Treat her with gentleness, good character, and respectful manners. Share equally in comfort and livelihood with her. Never oppress, harm, or disrespect her. Be patient with her shortcomings. Focus on her virtues and overlook minor mistakes. Support her in hardships, illness, grief, and difficulties with loyalty and sincerity. Protect her honor and dignity. Encourage her in religious devotion and guide her toward righteousness. Provide halal sustenance for your family. Treat her family and friends with respect. Be generous in household matters and love your wife sincerely from the heart.
Humanity is built upon greatness, purity, friendship, happiness, and peace. A smile is a message of peace that enters hearts like fragrance. It is a ray of hope amid darkness and a declaration of war against sorrow, sadness, and despair. A smile brightens the face, lights the eyes, and brings joy to the heart. Smiling costs nothing but earns so much. It leaves a lasting impression on hearts and is a gift even the poorest person can offer.
Great is the one who sees a funeral and takes a lesson from it. Worship in a way that nourishes your soul. Do not become so soft that you are crushed, nor so rigid that you break. Do not be lazy in pursuing goodness, for laziness prevents success in virtuous deeds. Keep your heart detached from worldly attractions, for one day you will leave them all behind. Do not be deceived by youth, as many young people have passed away before reaching old age.
Those who wander aimlessly in youth rarely walk straight on the path of life. Do not judge people by outward appearances. Character is a book that even a fool can read. Every person is born in a house, but humanity is born only in a few. When distances increase, misunderstandings increase as well. If someone hurts your heart, remain silent, for time often answers those whom we choose not to answer.
The man who insults his wife before others loses his own respect in her eyes. Speak gently with people, for tone often has more effect than words themselves. The one who constantly seeks revenge keeps his wounds alive forever.
A child once stumbled while walking, but before he could fall, his mother caught him. Her joy was beyond measure. If a mother is so happy when her child takes a few steps toward her, then imagine how pleased Allah becomes when His servant takes even a few steps toward Him in repentance.

A person is either broken by life's trials or has conquered his own desires. The best life belongs to those who rely upon Allah alone. Life becomes better when you are happy, but it becomes truly beautiful when someone else is happy because of you. Maintain relationships with the care of a honeybee that takes nectar from flowers without harming them. Meet people like a flower and leave them like a fragrance.
If your husband encourages you to observe hijab, it is not because he doubts you, but because he values and protects you. Children do not learn from what parents say; they learn from what they see. Therefore, parents must become examples of good character and righteous conduct.
Parents love their children more than anyone else. Include them in important decisions and honor them. Remember that the pleasure of Allah lies in the pleasure of parents, and His displeasure lies in their displeasure. O young people, do not sacrifice your Hereafter by hurting your parents in this short worldly life.
