Whoever teaches his son to recite the quran by looking, his sins are forgiven

Perform wudu properly and pray salah, sins will be forgiven

Hazrat ubada bin saamit raziyallahu anhu says I heard rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam saying, "Allah ta'ala has made 5 daily prayers obligatory. Whoever performs wudu well for these prayers and offers them at their preferred time, performs ruku and sajda with calmness and prays with full humility, then allah ta'ala promises that He will certainly forgive him. And whoever does not offer these prayers on time nor prays with humility, there is no promise of forgiveness for him. Allah may forgive him or punish him if He wills,"

Abu daoud, Baab us salah 465

Do wudu for salah, wash away the sins

Hazrat abdullah suna bihi raziyallahu anhu narrates that rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam said, "When a believing servant performs wudu and rinses his mouth, all the sins of his mouth are washed away. When he cleans his nose, all the sins of his nose are washed away. When he washes his face, the sins of his face are washed away, even coming out from the roots of his eyelashes. When he washes his hands, the sins of his hands are washed away, even from under the fingernails. When he wipes his head, the sins of his head are washed away, even coming out from his ears. And when he washes his feet, the sins of his feet are washed away, even from under the toenails. Then his walking to the masjid and praying salah is an additional means of virtue for him,"

Nasai, 1/29

Pray salah, become pure and clean from sins

Hazrat umar bin absa sulmi raziyallahu anhu says, "If after wudu a person stands and prays salah in which he praises and glorifies allah ta'ala in a manner befitting His majesty and empties his heart from all thoughts and turns to allah, then after finishing salah this person becomes as pure and clean from his sins as if his mother had given birth to him today,"

Muslim, 1/276

If a sin is committed, perform wudu well and pray 2 rakats and seek forgiveness, sin will be forgiven

Hazrat abu bakar siddiq raziyallahu anhu says I heard rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam saying, "When a person commits a sin, then he performs wudu well and stands to pray 2 rakats, then seeks forgiveness from allah ta'ala, allah ta'ala forgives him." After this rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam recited this ayah, "Translation - Those servants whose condition is that when they commit a sin or do some evil and wrong themselves, they quickly remember allah ta'ala, then they seek forgiveness from allah ta'ala for their sins. And the fact is that none can forgive sins except allah ta'ala. And they do not persist in the evil deed, and they firmly believe that sins are forgiven through tauba,"

Abu daoud, 1/213
