*Correct Method of Ghusl (Full Ritual Bath) According to Qur'an & Hadith*

*Ghusl* is obligatory in Islam in certain conditions (e.g. after Janabah, menstruation, or childbirth bleeding). It is a way to purify the body and soul, as mentioned in the Qur’an and practiced by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

> *“…And if you are in a state of Janabah, then purify yourselves (ghusl)...”*

*Obligatory Acts (Faraa’id) of Ghusl:*
According to majority of scholars (especially Hanafi fiqh):
1. *Rinsing the mouth* (to the back of the throat)
2. *Rinsing the nose* (up to the soft bone)
3. *Washing the entire body*, ensuring no spot remains dry
These are *fardh* — without them, ghusl is invalid.

*Sunnah Method of Ghusl (As practiced by Prophet ﷺ):*
1. *Make niyyah* (intention) for purification
2. *Say Bismillah*
3. *Wash the hands* up to the wrists three times
4. *Wash the private parts* thoroughly
5. *Remove any impurity* from the body
6. *Perform full wudhu* (ablution) like for salah
7. *Pour water over the head* three times
8. *Pour water over the right side*, then left side
9. *Wash entire body*, ensuring all areas including under arms, between fingers and toes, navel, etc.
*Recommended (Mustahabbat) Acts:*
- Using a rough cloth or hand to rub the body
- Performing ghusl in a private place
- Conserving water
- Washing the feet at the end (if not done during wudhu)

- Hair must be fully soaked — for women, braids don’t need to be undone unless water can't reach the roots.
- Ensure no barriers (e.g. nail polish, paint) block water.

اسلام میں غسل بعض حالتوں میں فرض ہوتا ہے، جیسے جنابت، حیض یا نفاس کے بعد۔ یہ بدن اور روح کی طہارت کا ذریعہ ہے۔

> *"وَإِن كُنتُمْ جُنُبًا فَاطَّهَّرُوا"*

> ’’اور اگر تم جنبی ہو تو خوب پاکی حاصل کرو‘‘

*غسل کے فرض (Fardh) اجزاء:*
1. *کلی کرنا* (اتنی کہ حلق تک پہنچ جائے)
2. *ناک میں پانی ڈالنا* (نرم ہڈی تک)
3. *پورے جسم کو دھونا* — کوئی جگہ خشک نہ رہے
یہ تین فرض ہیں، ان میں سے کوئی بھی چھوٹ جائے تو غسل نہیں ہوگا۔

1. *نیت کریں* (دل میں)
2. *بسم اللہ پڑھیں*
3. *ہاتھوں کو کلائیوں تک تین بار دھوئیں*
4. *نجاست صاف کریں*
5. *پورا وضو کریں* (نماز والا)
6. *سر پر تین مرتبہ پانی ڈالیں*
7. *پہلے دائیں، پھر بائیں جانب پانی ڈالیں*
8. *پورا جسم دھوئیں* — بغل، ناف، انگلیوں کے درمیان، بالوں کی جڑیں، سب جگہ

- جسم کو ہاتھ یا کپڑے سے رگڑنا
- - تنہائی میں غسل کرنا
- پانی کی بچت کرنا
- آخر میں پاؤں دھونا (اگر وضو میں نہ دھوئے ہوں)
