The Prophet’s Mercy and the Ruling on Weeping During Grief

Shaikh ul Islam Hazrat Maulana Syed Hussain Ahmad Madni ne ye waqia naqal farmaya ke ek jagah par kisi buzurg ke mayyat ka intiqal hua to ajeeb baat thi ke jab qabristan ki to andar poori qabr me phoolon ki chadar bichai hui thi aur itni khushbuon wale phool ke qabristaan ka poora ilaqa bilkul us ke aas paas ka ilaqa khushbu se mehka hua tha. Sakht gande shakl me wo darguzri, jis ko log dekhte hi reh jate the, aur wo chadar bari ajeeb o ghareeb thi. To gaon ke kuch logon ne kaha ke maloom karna chahiye ke us ka kya muamla tha. Ke Allah Ta'ala ne zahiri aankhon ke saamne us ki qabr ko hamari duaon se pehle hi "Rauza tum min riyazil jannah" ka namoona bana diya.

Ghar wale hi zyada jante hain ke kya aaye kya karta tha. To logon ki ek jamaat us ke ghar par gayi. Aur us ke bachon ko bula kar kaha ke tumhare abba subah se shaam tak zindagi me kya kya karte the? Zara humein batao? To rozah aur sadaqah aur iske ilawa un ka koi amal tha.

Quran Paak par aaghi bharte jaate the aur kehte the ke Allah ne ye kaha hai, Allah ne ye bhi kaha hai. To ye kaha ja sakta hai, ke jab Quran Paak mohabbat ki nazron se dekha jaye to jannat ke baghaat ki kiyariyon me se ek kiyari bhi ban sakta hai.

To jo mohabbat se us ko yaad karta ho, us ke maani me mohabbat se ghour aur fikar karta ho, us ka to kaam hi ban gaya. Ba-haal e mohabbat se Quran Paak ko pharte rehne ko yaad rakho.

The Story of Love for the Holy Quran

Shaikh ul Islam Hazrat Maulana Syed Hussain Ahmad Madni narrated this incident:

In one place, a pious elder passed away. And there was a strange thing that when they went to the graveyard, the entire grave inside was covered with a sheet of flowers, and the flowers had such fragrance that the whole area of the graveyard around it was filled with fragrance. So people were amazed.

And they were trying to take that sheet out from inside but that sheet was not coming out at all. The sight was so strange, that people kept staring at it. And that sheet was very strange and wonderful. So some people of the village said that we should find out what was the matter with him. That Allah Ta'ala showed before our eyes an example of "a garden from the gardens of Paradise" for his grave, even before our prayers.

Only the family members know more about what he used to do. So a group of people went to his house. And calling his children they asked, "What did your father do from morning to evening all his life? Tell us a little? Was fasting, charity or any other deed part of his routine?"

They said, "We do not know of anything like that which our father was regular in. Yes, there is one thing that we saw our father being regular in, and he has been doing it since childhood. He did not know how to read or write. He had worldly education."

They said, "Whatever the household expenses were, he kept a box for that. He would open it daily and say, 'Allah said this, Allah also said this. It is true.' Like this he would keep reciting the Holy Quran all day. Finally, to see inside that black box, Allah knows what he used to do.

When they said this, the people who had gone said, 'We should find out what is inside this box.'"

They said, "Bring that box for a moment." It was brought and when it was opened, a Holy Quran came out. Look, that elder had passed away, and he also did not know how to read.

He would keep turning the pages of the Holy Quran and say, "Allah said this, Allah also said this."

So it can be said that when the Holy Quran is looked at with eyes of love, even one flowerbed from the gardens of Paradise can be made.

So whoever remembers it with love, who reflects upon its meaning with love, his work is done. 

In short, remember to keep reciting the Holy Quran with love.
