Safar me duaon ka ehtimam /Care for Prayers During Travel and Helping Companions

Safar me duaon ka ehtimam

Safar me duaon ka ehtimam

Haalat e safar me duaen qubool hoti hain. Allah Ta'ala ki ibadat aur Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ki sunnaton par amal aur zi ke liye uthne walon ki dua me burd wa qabooli hoti hai. Is liye jo jaye, dawat o tabligh, ibadat, salah rehmi, rafai amoor aur deegar murtasid ke liye jane wale safar me duaon ka khas ehtimam karna chahiye.

Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya:

`Thalathu da'watin mustajabat: Da'watuz zalim, wa da'wat ul musafir, wa da'wat ul walidi ala waladihi.`

Wa fi riwayatin ukhra: `la usnaduha musajjabatan la shakka feeha.`

(Rawahu Tirmizi wa ibn e Majah, Baab us Safar, Hadith no: 3438)

Teen duaein (zaroor) qubool hoti hain: Mazloom ki dua, musafir ki dua aur walid ki dua aur aulad ke haq me walidain ki dua.

*Safar me saathiyon ki khidmat aur ta'awun*

Safar me kamzoron aur za'eefon ki madad karna, zaroori umoor ki taraf un ki rehnumai karna.

*Ahl e dawat ke liye ek chand sunnaten*

Aur rehnumai karna, maali ta'awun ki zaroorat ho to maali ta'awun karna, kamzor aur pyada logon ko sahara dena, un ke bojh ko uthana, sawari me jagah tang ho to paidal chalne walon ko sawari kar lena, sawari masafiron se bhari hui ho to boorhon, aurton aur bachon ke liye jagah (seat) khali kar ke un ko bithana. In amoor ke ilawa safar me deegar qism ki pareshani pesh aa jati hain. Un tangi waqt me husn e zaroorat saathiyon ki madad karna.

Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam dauran e safar taaqib ki kya fikr kiya karte the: Kaun chala gaya, sawari me kaun sawr hua, koi chhoot to nahi? Kisi ka saman chhoota to nahi? Aur ghair e haalat se jaan, kaari aur har qism ki zaroorat ke liye ta'awun ke liye peeche reh karte the.

Hazrat Jabir farmate hain:

`Kana Rasoolullahi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam yatakhallafu fil maseer fayunziluz za'eefa, wa yurdifu, wa yad'u lahu.`

(Rawahu Abu Dawood, Kitab ul Jihad, Baab Luzoom us Saqah: 2409)

Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam safar me peeche rehte the, kamzor (ki sawari) ko bithate (ta'ke saathiyon ke saath raha kar chale jaye). Koi paidal chal raha hota to us ko apne peeche sawari par bitha lete aur us ke liye dua karte the.

Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri farmate hain:

Ek martaba hum safar me Rasool Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke hamrah the, achanak ek shakhs aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke auont ke samne aakar khara ho gaya aur apni ountni baithayi. Phir wo apni janib pher lene laga. Ye haalat dekh kar Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: Jis shakhs ke paas zaid sawari ho, wo apni sawari se us shakhs ka ta'awun kare jis ke paas zaid sawari na ho. Aur jis ke paas zaroorat se zaid samaan ho, us ka ta'awun kare.

Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri farmate hain: Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne deegar qism ke maalon ko bhi aisa hi farmaya: Yahan tak ke hum samjhe ke lag raha hai.

Care for Prayers During Travel and Helping Companions

Care for prayers during travel

In the state of travel, supplications are accepted. The dua of those who go out for the worship of Allah Ta'ala, for following the Sunnah of Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, for inviting to Islam and for other necessary matters is accepted.

Therefore, those who travel for preaching, worship, maintaining family ties, welfare work, and other necessary purposes should make special effort to do dua during travel.

Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said:

`"There are three supplications that are definitely answered: The supplication of the oppressed, the supplication of the traveler, and the supplication of a father for his child."`

And in another narration: `"I will definitely answer them without any doubt."`

(Narrated by Tirmizi and Ibn e Majah, Chapter of Travel, Hadith No: 3438)

Three supplications are certainly accepted: The dua of the oppressed, the dua of the traveler, and the dua of parents for their children.

*Serving and cooperating with companions during travel*

Helping the weak and the elderly during travel, and guiding them regarding necessary matters.

*A few Sunnahs for the people of Dawah*

And guiding them. Providing financial help if needed. Supporting the weak and those who are on foot. Carrying their burdens. If there is not enough space in the ride, then those who are walking should be given a place on the ride. If the ride is full of passengers, then make space for the elderly, women, and children.

Apart from these matters, other kinds of difficulties also come up during travel. In such times of hardship, help your companions with a good heart.

How did the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam take care of his companions during travel: Who was left behind, who got on the ride, was anyone left behind? Did anyone's luggage get left behind? And in other situations he would stay behind to help with any need, with food, and with all kinds of matters.

Hazrat Jabir narrates:

`The Messenger of Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam would stay behind the group while traveling. He would make the weak ride, give them a ride behind him, and make dua for them.`

(Narrated by Abu Dawood, Book of Jihad, Chapter of Staying with the Weak: 2409)

Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam would stay behind during travel, make the weak ride (so that they could travel with the group). If someone was walking, he would make him ride behind him and make dua for him.

Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri narrates:

Once we were on a journey with Rasool e Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, when suddenly a man came and stood in front of the camel of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam and made his she-camel sit. Then he began to turn towards himself. Seeing this condition, Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: "Whoever has an extra mount, let him help the one who does not have an extra mount. And whoever has extra luggage, let him help the one who does not have extra luggage."

Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri says: Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said the same about other kinds of wealth as well, until we thought that we have no right to anything extra.
