When beard hairs fall out during combing, ablution (wudu),

Ruling on hair loss in Islam

 *Question:*

When beard hairs fall out during combing, ablution (wudu), or bathing (ghusl), is it necessary to pick them up, keep them carefully, and show respect to them? Some people say that once the hairs fall out of the beard, their respect ends. Please provide guidance.

Importance of Beard Hairs in Islam

Beard hairs are part of the human body and thus deserve respect and honor in Islam. Their significance is not nullified simply because they fall out naturally or during grooming, ablution, or bathing.

What to Do if Beard Hairs Fall Out?

If beard hairs fall off during combing, wudu, or ghusl, the preferred ruling is to collect them and bury them in the earth if possible. This act is a form of respect and care for the body parts given by Allah.

If Burial Is Not Possible

If collecting or burying the beard hairs is difficult, then it is not mandatory to bury them, and one is excused due to hardship. However, it is disliked (makruh) to throw them in places like the bathroom, sink, or trash.

Why Avoid Improper Disposal?

Islamic scholars have explicitly warned against throwing beard hairs into dirty or unhygienic places, as it can be a cause of illness and shows disrespect.

Conclusion

Respect for beard hairs continues even after they fall out. Therefore, it is important to handle them with care and avoid disrespectful disposal.

Agar daarhi ke baal kanghi, wuzu ya ghusl ke dauran gir jayein to behtareen amal yeh hai ke unhein jama kar ke zameen mein dafn kar diya jaye takay unka ehtram ho.

Agar Dafn Karna Mumkin Na Ho

Agar jama karna ya dafn karna mushkil ho to dafn karna farz nahi aur mushkil ki wajah se maafi hai, magar unhein ghusl khana, basin ya gandagi mein phenkna makruh hai.

Na-Pasandida Tareeqe Se Phenkne Se Bachao Kyun Zaroori Hai?

Fuqaha ne is baat par zor diya hai ke daarhi ke baal gandagi ya gheri safai wali jagahon par na phenkay jayein kyun ke is se bemari ka khatra hota hai aur yeh be-ehtirami hai.

Khaasra

Daarhi ke baal girne ke bawajood unki taazeem jaari rehti hai, is liye unhein ehtiyat se rakhna aur na-pasandida jagahon par phenkne se gurez karna zaroori hai.
