Dua for forgiveness of sins after Friday prayer in the light of the Hadith

*English:*

It is commonly said:

*"Whoever recites ‘SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi SubhanAllah al-Azeem’ 100 times after Jumu'ah (Friday) prayer, Allah forgives his sins and 124,000 sins of his parents."*

However, this specific narration *is not authentically proven* in any sahih hadith.

But the dhikr itself is highly virtuous. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

> *“Whoever says: ‘SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi’ 100 times a day, his sins will be forgiven even if they are as much as the foam of the sea.”*

> *(Sahih Bukhari 6405, Sahih Muslim 2691)*

*Conclusion:*

Reciting this dhikr after Jumu'ah is beneficial, but associating a specific reward (like 124,000 sins of parents forgiven) is not authentically proven. It’s best to stick to what is established in authentic hadiths.

*Roman Urdu:*

Yeh baat mashhoor hai:

*"Jo shakhs Jumma ke baad 100 martaba ‘SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi SubhanAllah al-Azeem’ padhta hai, Allah uske aur uske maa baap ke 124,000 gunah maaf kar deta hai."*

Lekin yeh khas baat *kisi sahih hadith se sabit nahi hai.*

Haan! Yeh zikr apne aap mein bohot fazilat wala hai. Rasool Allah ﷺ ne farmaya:

> *"Jo shakhs roz 100 martaba 'SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi' padhe, uske gunah maaf kar diye jate hain, chahe woh samandar ki jhaag ke barabar hi kyun na hon."*

> *(Sahih Bukhari 6405, Sahih Muslim 2691)*

*Khulasa:*

Jumma ke baad yeh zikr karna behtareen hai, lekin 124,000 gunahon ki specific fazilat sabit nahi. Behtar hai ke sahih hadithon par amal kiya jaye.
